MANI RATNAM SIR TOLD ME I'M A GOOD ACTOR!

VJ Ramya Subramaniam is right now on a sabbatical from Television and there is actually a reason behind it. When contacted, this is what the star had to say.

"I have not been doing TV shows as of now. A lot of my interest and energy is being driven towards something bigger. Though I was apprehensive about taking up OK Kanmani, but at the end of the day it was Mani sir, and after being part of a film of such standards, now I am seriously considering acting full time. Mani sir told me that I am a good actor and I should try my best. This much needed confidence boost has made me feel positive about acting in movies. Though I’ve been a VJ hosting a variety of shows, the thing about acting is definitely challenging and demanding. I am ready to take up any kind of a role, ranging from supporting cast to female leads. A lot of offers are knocking my door from Kerala and Andhra as well, but I am taking my time to decide on my next. I have been hitting the gym regularly and I have arrived at a spot where I feel absolutely confident and healthy of my looks. Known for wearing dignified clothes with a girl next door image, I will also exercise caution on the kind of costumes I might get to wear. Since it's time for me to step into the next level, I request all your support and love".

After years of experience with TV, should be a cakewalk for VJ Ramya when it comes to the silver screen.
