Top star Prashanth is back in action with a crime thriller Johnny, co-starring Sanchita Shetty, Prabhu, Shayaji Shinde, Anand Raj, Ashutosh Rana, and others.

Directed by debutant Vetri Selvan, the film is produced by Prashanth's father and actor Thiagarajan. This is the official remake of the Hindi film Johnny Gaddaar, that had Neil Nitin Mukesh in the lead role.

The trailer of Jhonny has now been released by the makers. This 51-seconds long teaser has the right mix of all the commercial elements, though, the teaser suggests that the film will be high on action. Johnny will be Prashanth's next film after Saahasam.
