EXCLUSIVE: AALUMA DOLUMA ENGLISH COVER

Recently, we caught up with singer Inno Genga, for an exclusive interview. We present to you some excerpts from that conversation where he talks about working with Anirudh Ravichander. He has also done an English cover of the super hit song, Aaluma Doluma from Ajith's Vedalam.

Experience with Anirudh?
I've learned so much from Anirudh just by watching him work. It's a good experience to see him produce music and in these last few months, I have learned so much.

Why mostly Anirudh's songs for covers?
I am a big fan of Anirudh, most of his songs work for my voice. It's also easy to come up with English lyrics, and I have bonded with those songs better.

About Come Closer (Sirikkadhey English version)?
First, he had sent me Sirikkadhey, the Tamil version, I added my English part, and when he heard it, he decided to make a full English version of the song because he liked the English bit that much. I don't even think he knows this, but on the flight from London to Chennai, I wrote the rest of the song completely!
