Taana is an upcoming cop film with Vaibhav and Nandita Swetha in the lead roles. It also had popular comedian Yogi Babu playing a crucial supporting role. The film is written and directed by Yuvaraj Subramani, and bankrolled by MC Kalaimamani and MK Lakshmi Kalaimamani. It is co-produced by H Sanaulla Khan, Prashant Ravi, and S Santhosh.
On the technical front, the film has cinematography by GRN Sivakumaar, music by Vishal Chandrasekhar and editing by GK Prasanna. The first look of the film was released by Karthik Subbaraj today at 6pm, on his Twitter handle.
This is Vaibhav's next film after Meyaadha Maan, although he was seen in a very small cameo in Karthik Subbaraj's Petta, in the song Aaha Kalyanam. He also has a few films in the pipeline, like Katteri.
Meanwhile Karthik Subbaraj, who released the poster of the film had last directed Rajinikanth's Petta, which left us all Rajinified. It had a dream cast involving Simran, Trisha, Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and others, in the project bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
