The talented actor Suriya is currently basking in the success of his recent hit, Soorarai Pottru that was helmed by Sudha Kongara. The film was well-received by everyone for its powerful screenplay which is based on former Army captain and Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath’s book “Simply Fly”.

Post which, the actor is now currently busy shooting for a web series - Navarasa that will be directed by Gautham Menon. The actor has a number of projects lined up next; out of which his 40th film will director Pandiraj was officially announced last month.

The upcoming film will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures. Meanwhile, reports were doing heavy rounds that the makers have decided to rope in the “National Crush of India” - Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
