CHEKKA CHIVANTHA VAANAM BOX OFFICE REPORT

On September 27, legendary director Mani Ratnam returned to the silver screen with his huge mult-starrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The film had music by AR Rahman and cinematography by Santhosh Sivan.

The stellar cast included STR, Arvind Swami, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Dayana Erappa, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha and many others. 

With fine performances by the whole cast, the film received unanimously positive reviews all over and it was celebrated highly with early morning shows.

According to the Behindwoods box-office wing, CCV has collected just over 3.4 crores in its first weekend in Chennai city. The film has received the verdict - Very Good Opening. 

With a public holiday coming up on October 2, CCV is expected to hold stronger in the trade circle.
