Dayana Erappa opens up about Chekka Chivantha Vaanam

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is Mani Ratnam's latest film that had Simbu, Arun Vijay, Arvind Swami, and Vijay Sethupathi as the male leads. Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Dayana Erappa as the female leads.

It had a masterful technical team that consisted of AR Rahman as the music director and Santosh Sivan as the cinematographer. The film has been receiving positive reviews all over, and has also been doing good at the box office.

Talking to Behindwoods, one of the female leads, Dayana Erappa spoke about one of the incidents that took place at the shooting spot. "While canning an important shot in the final schedules of CCV, we were required to shoot in a jeep. It was while shooting for Simbu's intro song with me.

Since it was raining, the soil was clay-ish. The jeep wouldn't move uphill and got stuck in the sand. It had Mani sir, Santosh Sivan sir and a couple of Assistant directors in it, along with the driver. So, Simbu came forward and single handedly pushed the jeep and rescued the team. I offered to come and help, but he refused." quipped Dayana.
