He attended the Behindwoods Gold Medals 2019 event conducted on the 8th of December 2019. He was awarded the Behindwoods Gold Medal for The Most Celebrated Person on Television for Bigg Boss 3. This was awarded to him by Popular Actress Athulya Ravi.
Tharshan made Priyanka go aww when he said that he gave his Bigg Boss money to his mom, for which Ma Ka Pa Anand replied that he was giving this answer to escape from treating his friends. The main highlight was when the Bigg Boss meme was presented on stage.
