While the actress had alleged that she has lent monetary help to Tharshan and explained that he has changed recently after gaining fame, Tharshan does not adhere to most of those statements.

He has an exclusive interaction with Behindwoods, where he shared his side of the story in detail. While explaining about her Sanam's bikini interview which he was not a fan of, Tharshan stated: "Having a bikini photoshoot is fine, but something like bikini interview has never happened before in Tamil Nadu" and resented over it.
