Kabir Singh is a Hindi film that is the official remake of Blockbuster Telugu film Arjun Reddy. While Arjun Reddy had Vijay Deverakonda as the lead, Kabir Singh had Shahid Kapoor reprising his role. Shahid was seen alongside MS Dhoni girl Kiara Advani in the film directed by Sandeep Vanga, who had also helmed the original.
This film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde under the banners Cine1 Studios and T-Series, and revolves on the life of an alcoholic surgeon whose life goes to a self-destructive mode after his lover marries someone else.
The makers have released the video of the song Bekhayali from the film. Bekhayali is composed and sung by Sachet Tandon, while Irshad Kamil has penned the lyrics. The film hit the screens on June 21, 2019.
