AN INDIAN FAIRY TALE WITH RAHMAN'S MUSIC?

The filmmaker who helmed films like Lagaan and Jodhaa Akbar, Ashutosh Gowariker is currently busy with a similar kind of period flick with actor Hrithik Roshan titled as ‘Mohenjo Daro’. AR Rahman takes care of the music department for this period drama too.

Few recent talks among the members of the glamour industry suggests that Ashutosh has an inclination towards adapting the popular fairy tale, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs into an Indian film. Apparently, it is not just Ashutosh but few other filmmakers from Bollywood have shown interest towards this idea after catching the recent recreated Hollywood version of this tale, Snow White and the Huntsman.

If this idea materialises for Ashutosh, will it also be a Rahman musical? It should be noted that the Oscar man is the filmmaker’s favorite and it indeed will be a treat to listen to the music that he will score for a fairy tale like film. Let's watch out for some official announcements!
