His Tamil directorial debut will be scripted by Malayalam filmmaker Midhun Manuel Thomas, who is known for the blockbuster thriller ‘Anjaam Pathiraa’.
Arjun Das, who plays a pivotal role in Vijay's Master, plays the lead. Anwar Rasheed and Arjun Das are teaming up for the first time and this is sure to be an exciting project. Anwar is producing the film under his home banner.
It is being learnt that the film will have a rural backdrop. Anwar is said to have opted for Arjun, after being impressed with his performance in Kaithi, which starred Karthi in the lead, and was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Arjun Das's upcoming big project is Master, which also has Malavika Mohanan, Andrea, Vijay Sethupathi and Shanthnu Bhagyaraj in pivotal roles. Watch this space for more!
