TRAILER REVIEW: ATLEE’S ANDHAGAARAM PRESENTS A CAPTIVATING CAT AND MOUSE TALE

We are acquainted with the character of Vinod, who is shown to be visually challenged, with quite a bit of what in Kollywood terms can be called 'build-up'. "Don't take him lightly," we are told. Yes, sir! He is entrusted with a job, but what is it?

We cut across to Arjun Das being tormented and in obvious agony, but the burning question is why? We feel his frustration when he runs wild or derangedly slams things around him to vent his anger. “I’m already in hell,” bellows Arjun’s character, once again, making Himalayan use of his trump card, his goosebumps-actuating baritone.

The throbbing tense music, combined with shots of smoke up the air, takes the allure a few notches higher. While production values might be a bit on the lower side, a great deal of shots exhibiting the dark, and efficacy of the sound, more than make up in keeping up the force and the rush.

At this point, we should concede that we can hardly wait for the two men to face off each other on the big screen and unravel the big mystery.
