Raghava Lawrence had called for a press meet yesterday to share the successful victory of Jallikattu protests, initiated and led by youngsters and students. Early this morning, Lawrence on his official Facebook page posted

"Hi friends and fans, I want to share an important matter with you all. I attended a press meet yesterday. There were 3 good things happened at the press meet

1. K. Manikandan, 16 years old who hails from Ambattur died during the last day protest at Marina. We have provided 10 lakhs rupees to the victim. We had also requested the youngsters to offer more help to affected protesters.

2. We said we provided shelter to one needy transgender.

3. We also informed, that youngster group has plans to do more social services going forward.
But none of these points were highlighted by some of the media. I had said that if the situation demands and if peoples want us to enter politics, we will enter. I did not even say that I will enter politics, I only said we will enter politics.

It was my wish to become dance master, it was my wish to become an actor and it was my wish to become director too but If the situation demands and if the students and youngsters are pushed to get into politics, I will support them as a backbone with public support."
