Raai Laxmi is a famous actress who is awaiting the release of Neeya 2 that also stars Jai, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Catherine Tresa and others. It is directed by Suresh and produced by Jumbo Cinemas.
Mankatha is 2011 action film directed by Venkat Prabhu that had a huge star cast of Ajith Kumar, Trisha, Arjun, Andrea, Raai Laxmi and others. It was very well received by the audience and an important film in Ajith’s career.
During an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Raai Laxmi was asked about Mankatha 2 and she shared some fun details about it. She said she would definitely ask to be cast in Mankatha 2 if it happens and said,”Only the director knows if it’s going to continue as the same story or just have the title but if it happens, all of us from Mankatha will go, sit in Venkat Prabhu’s office and ask to be cast in our roles.”
About Neeya 2 she said that its been a long time since a movie about a snake story was made and she said that the roles of Varalaxmi, Catherine and herself have separate tracks in the film and said it was nice to work with Jai 10 years after Vaamanan. Watch the full interview here:
