Actor Karthi had kickstarted his acting career with the critically acclaimed romantic thriller Paruthiveeran that was directed by Ameer and also featured Priya Mani as the female lead. The film was well-received by the audiences and critics as well.
Now, he has taken to his social media to share the shocking and saddening death news of Paruthiveeran fame appatha (grandmother) Panchavarnam who passed away due to unknown reasons.
He recalled the late grandmother's affectionate voice and pale smile which still stand before his eye today even after 14 years. Sharing the pic of Panchavarnam, he tweeted, “பருத்திவீரனில் எனது அப்பத்தாவாக வாழ்ந்த பஞ்சவர்ணம் பாட்டி இறந்த செய்தி அறிந்தேன். அவரின் பாசமான குரலும், வெள்ளந்தி சிரிப்பும் இன்றும் என் கண் முன்னே நிற்கிறது. அவரின் குடும்பத்தாருக்கு எனது ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கலை தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறேன்.”
