Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsPS Mithran is known for directing films like 'Irumbu Thirai' and 'Hero'. He is next joining hands with Karthi. Preliminary work for the upcoming film starring Karthi is in full swing. The latest update is that the shoot is said to commence from April 26.
GV Prakash scores the music. The first look is also expected soon. The film is produced by Prince Pictures. George C Williams and Ruben would be in charge of the cinematography and editing, respectively.
Karthi was last seen on screens in Sulthan which was directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan who had earlier directed the Sivakarthikeyan starrer Remo. Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead.
Among the other releases he has is the multi-starrer Ponniyin Selvan which is directed by Mani Ratnam and also stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vikram Prabhu, Trisha amidst others. AR Rahman scores the music. The venture is jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, and would release in two parts.
