NO DATING, “MARRY HER AND THEN GO” – SUPERSTAR’S WEDDING TWIST!

Big B took to Twitter on Wednesday to share pictures from his wedding and revealed the story behind the images.

The Tweet shared by the actor reads, “47 years ago…today…June 3, 1973! Had decided if ‘Zanjeer’ succeeded we (Jaya Bachchan and himself), with a few friends would go to London, first time, to celebrate. Father asked who are you going with? When I told him who, he said, ‘You will marry her and then go, else you don’t go. I obeyed!”

The Indian actor and television personality tied the knot with actress Jaya Bhaduri (now Jaya Bachchan) on June 3, 1973. The couple starred together in the 1973 hit film ‘Zanjeer’.

Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ alongside Ayushmann Khuranna, directed by Shoojit Sircar.
