RAJINIKANTH, AMITABH BACHCHAN AND TOP SUPERSTARS TEAM UP FOR FAMILY: WATCH THE SHORT FILM

Titled Family, this shot-at-home short film features top stars that also include Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Sonalee Kulkarni, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Shiva Rajkumar & Diljit Dosanjh.

Virtually directed by Prasoon Pandey, the short film starts with Amitabh Bachchan losing his sunglasses, and the task of finding them is rested upon Diljit Dosanjh and Ranbir Kapoor. The sequence leads to various quirky scenes, as all superstars speak in their respective languages, thereby leading to little moments of confusion.

In the end, the short film presents a subtle message, as Bachchan reveals that stars, along with the short film's sponsors and its TV Network have teamed up to provide support to the livelihoods of daily wage labourers working in the film industry. He ends with a reassuring 'This too, shall pass' line.
