Vikram Prabhu - the Uthama Puthiran !

Distributors Gopuram Films' first production venture, Vellaikaara Durai, starring Vikram Prabhu and Sridivya in the lead roles, has turned out to be a profitable venture. The movie released in around 200 screens during christmas and now with the response that the movie has brought in, the number of screens have increased to around 300.

 

Happy with the result, the company's Anbu Chezhian announced that he would be producing more movies under the Gopuram Films banner!

 

Meanwhile, it is to be noted that the Pulinagam chain that Vikram Prabhu sports in the movie is the same one used by his grandfather, Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan in the movie Uthama Puthiran.
