FINALLY VETRI MAARAN’S VISAARANAI HAS A RELEASE DATE!

December 4th slot is getting packed, with Pasanga 2 featuring the likes of Suriya and Amala, Bobby Simha’s Urumeen and a couple of other films eyeing a release too.

Now look who is joining this list?  It is going to be the Vetri Maaran directorial Visaaranai. The film has been anticipated for various reasons. It is Vetri’s first release in almost 5 years after having given two nice films in Polladhavan (2007) and Aadukalam (2011).

Directors like Mysskin and Balki are already in awe of this film. Other directors who have watched the film through special screenings and at film festivals, have also been completely floored by the film. Looks like the wait is over for the common movie buff too. If things go as planned, in two weeks’ time, we could all catch up with the film on the 4th of December.

When we spoke to our sources close to the team, they said that they have a positive response from the officials in the censor board who watched the film recently. And the makers are hoping to get a U/A certificate with some minor cuts and mutes.
