The first look poster of the Kannada remake of Pisasu, Rakshasi was unveiled by Puneeth Rajkumar

The Indian film industry is lately witnessing a lot of healthy signs of growth in terms of the relationship among its members. A Superstar placing in record his support to any budding actor in a time of crisis, stars supporting small scale films acknowledging their content, technicians receiving the limelight for their quality work rendered, and the list goes on.

This time it is Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar who has shown his complete support to the Kannada remake of Pisasu, Rakshasi by accepting to unveil the first look poster. Vishal’s father GK Reddy essays the ghost’s father character in this film, as reported earlier.

When GK Reddy was contacted, he expressed his happiness and stated that,

“Vishal is very humble but Puneeth Rajkumar outdid my son. He was more than humble and gave us time amidst his busy schedule. I and his father Rajkumar were very good friends and Puneeth remembered that even now. We had plans to remake Sandakozhi starring Puneeth and Rajkumar, but by then we lost the great actor. Puneeth has agreed to grace the occasion of the audio release of our film too.”

Puneeth is busy shooting for the Kannada remake of Ivan Vera Mathiri titled as 'Chakravyuha' which is being directed by the Tamil director Saravanan himself. This remake feature seems to be 50% complete according to a source close to the crew.

Rakshasi aims the Navratri period for its theatrical release, as this festival is celebrated with a lot of grandeur in our neighbouring state.
