More fans vote for Ajith's Mankatha 2

When it comes to the ardent fans of Ajith and Vijay, they will always hold Mankatha (2011) and Thuppakki (2012) very close to their respective hearts. Both these films were outright blockbusters all over the world and were major career defining milestone movies for Thala and Thalapathy respectively.

Interestingly, both the films ended with the possibilities open for a sequel. Ever since, fans have been wanting to see more of Vinayak and Jagadish on screen and the directors of the two films, Venkat Prabhu and A.R.Murugadoss, have also expressed their willingness to work on a sequel if the opportunity presents itself.

Recently, in our verified Facebook page, we asked fans to vote for their preferred sequel among Mankatha and Thuppakki and the results as at 3 pm, April 13th are as follows

So the mandate from fans is clear. Both the films have a major craze regarding a sequel with Mankatha 2 having a slight edge. Will there be any action in this regard?
