Summer deadline for Gautham and Simbu!

Gautham Menon's Yennai Arindhaal has had a successful reception. This maverick director is now all enthused about his upcoming project starring Simbu, which was commenced more than a year back. It is to be noted that the teaser of this film, released last year as a gift for Simbu's birthday.

 

Authentic sources from that team said that the film is all set to roll again from Monday, 23rd Feb, in Chennai. Dancer Sathish is playing a very important role in this film, while Pallavi Subhash is the heroine. The title was initially speculated to be ''Sattendru Maaruthu Vaanilai'' but the team will go for a new title now.

 

Simbu is supposedly sporting a new look and will be seen playing a very different role in this untitled project. The team is also said to be going for a road trip along the West coast covering Mangalore, Maharashtra and up till Pune, for shooting in the coming months. 40% of the shooting is said to be complete and the team is hoping to finish the remaining portions in one stretch.

 

The film is likely to be completed by April or May. A.R.Rahman would take care of the tunes.
