The 'Thala 56' lady lead is official now ...

After many speculations and rumors, it is said that Shruti Haasan has bagged the coveted lead lady's role in Thala 56, Ajith's upcoming film with director Siva. Anirudh has already been signed on as the composer while Santhanam and Thambi Ramaiah are also expected to be in the film as the comedy elements.

Produced by A.M.Rathnam, Thala 56 is a much expected affair and marks the third time that Ajith and Rathnam are joining hands after Arrambam and Yennai Arindhaal. The shoot would commence soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
