WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM 'AMMANI'?

Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, who shaved her head for a role in Yuddham Sei, has acted in a prominent role in the upcoming movie, besides directing it. On Twitter, Lakshmy said, “Ammani is an ordinary, relatable, simple, far from perfect journey with an out of the box climax.”

 

The teasers show an elderly woman struggling through what may be her last years. The second trailer, which was released today, Sept 26, also suggests that the movie may not be a heavy art film and will have its lighthearted moments. The teaser also shows the old woman philosophically referring to death.
