KANCHANA 2 MATCHES LINGAA DESPITE THE DELAY

Kanchana 2's Telugu dubbed version Ganga opened all over Andhra and Telangana on May 1, two weeks after its release in Tamil Nadu. The film is a unanimous blockbuster in Tamil Nadu as widely discussed and declared already.

 

In the Telugu speaking belt, the response has been phenomenal too, despite the two week delay. Telugu trade experts say that among Tamil dubbed films, after 'I' and Lingaa, it is Ganga with such a mass craze. In fact, the Day 1 figures of Ganga are reportedly neck to neck with Lingaa which released in both Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. 'I' also had a simultaneous release.

 

The delay seems to have had no effect whatsoever on Ganga. It is set to match its Tamil counterpart and add on to the worldwide gross even more. 100 crores worldwide gross possible?
