Vijay's Puli with a whopping budget of 100 plus crores !!

Behindwoods has been constantly reporting about Puli and here is another update about the Vijay starrer. Vijay, who generally doesn't accommodate more than 60 odd days for any movie, has been shooting for the Chimbu Devan directed Puli for over 115 days now, since the start on November 10th. Now 40 more days of shoot remain - 25 in India and 15 abroad.

 

When enough about the cast, crew and particularly Vijay's intro song has been said, we've managed another official news. The film is said to be made on a whopping budget of more than 118 crores, eyeing a bilingual release in Tamil and Telugu.

 

With shooting happening at a brisk pace now in Thalakonam, the crew is reportedly having a really tough time communicating to the outside world with the lack of availability of basic facilities at the dense forest. Producers Shibu K Thameens and PT Selvakumar have said that the Forest Department and Andhra Police have been extremely cooperative and supportive of their ambitious venture.

 

The title logo and the first look motion poster of the film are awaited eagerly by fans.
