MGR FOR DAD, VIJAY FOR SON

Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Keerthi’s wedding took place this morning, August 21st in Chennai. Many years back, in 1984, when the celebrity couple of director Bhagyaraj and actress Poornima tied the knot, 'Puratchi Thalaivar' MGR graced the occasion and he himself handed over the 'mangalsutra' / 'thali' to the groom.

Similarly today, we saw Ilayathalapathy Vijay gracing the occasion of Bhagyaraj’s son Shanthanu's wedding and handing over the 'mangalsutra' to the thrilled groom. Shanthanu is known to be a Vijay fan, and he must have felt really honoured, no doubt.

Mani Ratnam, Suhasini, Vishal, Suganya, Dharani, Vikranth, Khushboo, Revathi, Karthi, Jyothika, Vijayakumar, Nakul, Hari, Parthiban, Soori, Prabhu, Pandiarajan, Venkatesh and AVM Saravanan among others were also spotted at the marriage today.
