How has Yennai Arindhaal fared compared to I and Kaththi

Three of the biggest music albums of recent times  - I, Kaththi, Yennai Arindhaal, met with extremely positive reviews.  Shankar’s I which featured the music of AR Rahman, was the first to release among the three.

I’s music album was launched at a grand function on the 15^th of September, 2014 while Anirudh’s Kaththi album was released few days later on the 19^th of September, 2014. The recent sensational album Yennai Arindhaal was released on the eve of New Year, 2015 as a treat to all Ajith fans.

We know that all the three albums are a hit, but let’s see how each album fared on paper based on their radio plays. Please note, this data is based on Air Check reports (Chennai FM Stations).

At the end of five weeks:

'I' had the most number of plays with 1130 radio plays, followed by Yennai Arindhaal (1037) and Kaththi (729).
