Editor Anthony takes the Robert Wise way...

Editor Anthony is now turning a director with a Tamil remake of an acclaimed Malayalam film, Shutter. This film received plaudits for its unique subject at many international platforms. 

 

On his directorial venture, Anthony said, "I was so impressed by this film and I immediately decided to remake this in Tamil. The subject was off-beat and I loved the treatment of this film. And yes, this is going to be my directorial debut''.

 

It is also reported that this Tamil remake, also titled Shutter, will feature Sathyaraj and Malayalam artist Anumol in the lead roles. Further, it is said that the film has completed 90% of the shooting and the team includes cinematography by MS Prabhu and is produced by Think Big Studios. The team has tentatively planned to release the film by May.

 

Like Robert Wise, an acclaimed editor for films like Citizen Kane and The Fallen Sparrow who later became an award winning director, will our editor Anthony also create the same magic?
