Cinematographer Madhie speaks on Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu

Srimanthudu is an upcoming Telugu flick starring Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. The teaser of this film, which was released recently has been receiving some very nice response not just in Andhra Pradesh but also in Tamil Nadu as Mahesh Babu enjoys a good degree of followers here also.

Srimanthudu which was earlier supposed to release on the 17th of July might get postponed by a week or two in order to make way for Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali which is expected to release on the 10th of July. We hear that Srimanthudu might release by the end of July or in early August.

Devi Sri Prasad scores the music while cinematographer Madhie wields the camera for this film directed by Koratala Siva of Mirchi fame.

Speaking to Behindwoods about Srimanthudu, cinematographer Madhie says - “Srimanthudu would be an emotional action film laden with a social message. We still have 12 days of shoot left to complete. I have used two types of cameras, the Alexa Xt and the Red Dragon and you will find a lot of mild movement shots while watching the film.”
