NAYANTHARA DOES IT THIRD TIME IN A ROW!!!

At a time, when short shelf life marks a heroine’s stay in tinselville, there are just a handful of them who break this theory and continue to rule the box office and the audience’s heart. Nayanthara is one such actress who is constantly establishing her mettle as a performer in every project that she takes up and delivering a perfect ten again and again.

The latest release Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (NRD) had her fans go agog over her portrayal as a hearing impaired girl Kadhambari. The fact that she mouthed her lines added a lot of verve and power to the role that it could easily snatch a place in the actress’s filmography as her career best performance.

It is a given that the film industry is a male bastion. But to receive the loudest cheer and claps when an actress’s name appears on the credits or for her first shot in the film, is something rare, welcoming and Nayanthara gets it every time.

It is also interesting that 2015 witnessed a total of seven releases for Nayan (Nannbenda, Mass, Thani Oruvan, Maya and NRD in Tamil; Bhaskar The Rascal and Life of Josutty in Malayalam). What is more unusual is three of her films, Thani Oruvan, Maya and NRD are currently running in theatres with a lot of positive response with the first two films having done well at the BO too. NRD is also expected to follow suit. 

We will get to see Nayan in Idhu Namma Aalu, Thirunaal and Kashmora in 2016 and there would be more worthy projects coming in for this talented actress in the future too.
