Venkat Prabhu and Suriya to borrow title from Kamal?

Suriya’s next big project, post the currently under-production Lingusamy’s gangster movie, will be with director Venkat Prabhu. If what we hear is right, the title in consideration for this movie is Kalyana Raman. This in fact is the title of Kamal Haasan’s 1979 classic that also featured Sridevi, Manorama, Pushpalatha and VS Raghavan. In case Venkat Prabhu and team are planning to keep this title, they might have to get a clearance from the makers of the classic.
 

However, this Venkat Prabhu project will be a wholesome commercial entertainer, we hear. Our sources inform us that the movie will be a fiction fantasy and that it'll have extensive VFX. Produced by Studio Green Productions, the director is expected to retain his usual team, consisting of Yuvan Shankar Raja, Sakthi Saravanan and editors Praveen and Srikanth.
