Suriya does in real life what he said in reel

Suriya is one actor who is socially very responsible and serves the society in many ways, one of it being his Agaram Foundation through which he helps the cause of education for the underprivileged.

Recently when he was flagging off a marathon that was aimed at promoting organ donation, the Vaaranam Aayiram hero announced that he has pledged his organs. He said amidst loud cheer, “I have pledged my organs, have you? Love your liver and live your life”.

It may be recalled that in Shaheed Kader’s Chennayil Oru Naal, Suriya appears in the last scene encouraging organ donation. It sure is a gallantry act to pledge one’s organs and Suriya has done what he has advocated in reel life. Way to go Suriya!
