Shahrukh Khan's HNY leaps beyond 300 crores
Nov 03, 2014Shahrukh Khan's latest film Happy New Year, despite receiving mixed reviews, has not only entered the coveted 100 crore club for Indian net collections, but also crossed the 300 crores mark for worldwide gross collections.
It is reported that after the 2nd weekend, the film has netted 180.50 crores in India while after just 8 days, the worldwide gross of the film has crossed 300 crores (237 crores gross from India and an overseas gross of 63 crores). This is Shahrukh Khan's second film after Chennai Express to gross 300 crores worldwide.
Whether HNY would be able to better Chennai Express' collections is questionable.
