Popular music director and actor G.V.Prakash’s birthday was celebrated with much aplomb by his newly commenced fans club.
 

In connection to his birthday, a huge 10 kg cake was cut by him. Huge garlands, a crown, a silver sword and various other goodies symbolizing the event, were gifted to him. 'Kaakkum Karangal' - a home for destitute children and Asha Nivas boys' shelter home were beneficiaries of the fan club's initiative towards a good cause.

"My fans are mostly youth. They are spread through Twitter, Facebook and in all social forums. I wanted to assemble all of them in a single umbrella. Hence this fan club has been started. One cannot deny the fact that the force of youth is the fulcrum of our nation's growth. Tamil audience had given me a huge recognition in terms of name and fame.
