Nov 10, 2014

Dhanush starrer Anegan’s audio was released on the 9th of November in Chennai and the event was attended by the cast and crew of the team along with the hero of the show, music director Harris Jayaraj.

When hero Dhanush got up to speak on the occasion, he thanked the producer and director for giving this opportunity to feature in Anegan. He said, “Generally my costumes in films will be one old worn-out shirt, a rugged pant and a hawai cheppal. But in this film, I have been decorated very colorfully and I am quite excited about it.”

While extending special thanks to director K V Anand, Dhanush stated that he (K V Anand) is the first director who had made a grand film with him. He further shared that while he was working in Anegan, he got Shamitabh which is an extraordinary script. “I was able to do the Hindi film only because K V Anand adjusted my dates. Otherwise, I would have lost out that film. I am very indebted to him for this”, the Aadukalam hero added.

Dhanush also called the lyric writer Rokesh who shot to instant fame with his Dangamaari lyrics and asked him to enlighten the audience with the meaning of the words Dangamaari. According to the lyricist, Dangamaari is someone who keeps going back on his words and does not take his words seriously.

Dhanush thanked Harris Jayaraj for his wonderful songs and said that he is eagerly looking forward to the background score. The film is slated to hit the screens soon.
