May 30, 2014Thirumanam Enum Nikkah directed by Anees and produced by Aascar Ravichandran has got itself into rough weather with a case filed against the film and its producer by Tamil Nadu Shia Muslim Jamath in the Chennai High Court.
The outfit represented by Tablez Ali Khan states, "Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah has portrayed the Muslim community and Islamic principles in wrong light and if it is relesed, it is sure to bring in religious unrest".
Tablez Ali Khan further states, "Producer Aascar Ravichandran in his film Velayudham had filmed scenes in such a way that it had hurt the sentiments of Muslims and he has done the same in Thirumanam Enum Niikah too".
The court has ordered a reply from the producer within two weeks of time. Stay tuned
