Tamil film to be remade in German and English

At a time when stories in Tamil films seem to emerge from overseas, here is a Tamil film that is all set to be remade in German and English.

Onnumae Puriyala directed by debutante Apsara Ramkumar has script written by Bala Ramkumar and features Jack Michael of Virundhaali and Azhagan Azhagi fame as hero and Vidya and Harini as the lady leads. Music is scored by A R Rahman’s sister Raihanah and a song has also been sung by G V Prakash. Dileep and Sudharshan have done the cinematography for the film.

Sources aver that the film is about stress related psychological health issues that call centre employees face, and that the film will be from the hero’s point of view. The director’s brother who lives in Germany has apparently screened the film to a film direction group there, and having been impressed by the content, the group has bought the rights of the film to be remade in German and English. It sure is a good news! 'Onnumae Puriyala' is likely to hit the screens soon.
