Simbu and Nayanthara cross the halfway mark

Simbu's film with director Pandiraj, co-starring Nayanthara, is being canned at a brisk clip. Close to 50% of the film has already been shot with a lot of talkie scenes featuring Simbu and Nayanthara already done. The song sequences will be shot in the coming weeks.

The film is being targeted as a summer release, either in April or May. Simbu's younger brother Kuralarasan will be doing the music for this film.

Soori and Jayaprakash are the other pivotal characters in the film while Santhanam might also be roped in for a specific role. Santhanam's involvement in the film isn't confirmed yet.
