''Ajith Sir proved that we can also do it''

After Engeyum Eppodhum, actor Jai hadn't been in the limelight for a good amount of time. However, the long wait has happened to bring him a good film like Raja Rani. Speaking about the long gap and his character in Raja Rani, Jai mentioned in a recent interview that he was angry and worried about himself as he was not able to sustain the fame that he had acquired.
Jai stated that he did not have friends or family to guide him towards the right path. He is now happy that Raja Rani has clicked and his character is being talked about widely. Jai recalled the instance when Atlee told him that if he pulls off the character well, he would win accolades. Jai opened up saying he worked hard to get into the character of Surya and that he took many takes as he wanted to give them more choices.
The actor currently has five upcoming movies in his kitty out of which movies like Thirumanam Enum Nikkah and Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham are finished products and due for release.
Jai revealed that he would take a small break from films after he finishes up with his five upcoming movies and dedicate his time on racing, which has been his passion from a very young age.
"Ajith Sir is my inspiration. He has proved that actors can also race." Jai says.

The actor also holds a national car racing license.
