In a light hearted interview with a leading television channel, Vijay Sethupathy questioned Gokul, the director of idharkudhane Aasaipattai Balakumara (Idhaaba), why doesn’t his character get to dream of a duet song in Japan, while ‘Mankatha’ Ashwin and Swati could.

“Just because I’m Sumar Moonji Kumaru, my songs were shot in Kabali Thottam and Pattinapakkam. But I want to shoot in Australia,” demanded Vijay Sethupathy. The director has promised him that he would keep a song in the requested foreign location in the sequel of Idhaaba. Whether it was a mock promise or a true one, only time knows it.

Gokul also promises that ‘Mankatha’ Ashwin and the music director Siddharth Vipin would be the greatest finds of the film. Idhaaba also has MS Bhaskar, Pasupathy, Nanditha, Robot Shankar, Pattimandram Raja, Soori, VS Raghavan and Rajendran in other roles.
