RGV targets the Tamil audience

Director Ram Gopal Varma’s aspirations to make a film suited for the Tamil audience has come true as he’s set to direct a film titled ‘Naandhan Daa’. RGV did rope in Suriya for Ratha Charithram in the recent past but the film was an Andhra based subject.
RGV has cast Sharvanand after reportedly being impressed with his performance in Engeyum Eppodhum. The director said that he was curious to see how such an innocent face can undergo a sea of change and take up a criminal path. This was his tipping point in casting Sharvanand in the lead.
The film is being produced by Satish Film Corporation and also stars new face Anaika in the lead.
