Close on the heels of popular phrases from films turning as titles, there is one more in the offing called Nee Ellam Nalla Varuva Daa, an expression made famous by Santhanam. This film will be presented and funded by S.G.Films, the makers of films such as Pattiyal and Arinthum Ariyamalum. According to the team, the film is based on real life incidents and would be directed by R Nagendran who had worked with the likes of Seeman and Susi Ganesan.

The cast list appears very interesting with Vimal teaming up with Samuthirakani. M S Bhaskar, Imman Anachi, Singamuthu and Kumki Ashwin form the supporting cast and Gheetha, a new find from overseas is all set to step in to Kollywood horizon.

Camera for Nee Ellam Nalla Varuva Daa will be helmed by N K Ekambaram, music by G V Prakash and editing will be taken over by Praveen-Srikanth.  The film is slated to be shot in Pudhucherry, Chennai, Ooty, Kerala and then will move over to Australia and Malaysia.
