Action King Arjun’s Vallakottai is another movie set to release on Diwali day. True to the expectations with the lead actor’s presence, it is an action comedy film. Director of the movie A Venkatesh, who has given a series of good movies, is all praise for Arjun who has not used body double for the dangerous stunt sequences in the film. It’s going to be a visual delight for the action loving hardcore fans of Arjun.

On Arjun’s insistence, even the climax, which is a high action stunt sequence, had him play it all by himself. This was a challenging task for Arjun as well the cinematographer Anjaneyulu. The climax fight sequences were shot on burning hay which has Arjun jumping into action risking his life.

It was shot in a boathouse at Kochi in Kerala, where Arjun on a fishing trip, saves passengers stranded in the middle of the sea due to the misbehavior of a group of people involved in illegal activities. He took up the challenge of fighting the villains as well as rescuing the people without using the body double.

Haripriya joins him Arjun in the lead and Kanja Karuppu, Asish Vidyarthi, Vincent Asokan, Suresh, Livingston play supportive roles.

“While India and its people are known for preaching peace, we convey a message to ‘get angry’ however with a justification tagged to it,” says the movie’s director A Venkatesh. The film is produced by Raja for ESK Films International. Arjun plays a cool man who never gets angry but his patience is put to test at one point of time, giving birth to the action packed screenplay with the interesting and daring action sequences.

Arjun has already worked with Venkatesh in a couple of movies earlier like ‘Vathiyar’ and ‘Durai’. They share a good rapport and comfort levels while working together again has been bliss for both of them. The heroine Haripriya, though enacting a trivial role, has played her part very well. The director confesses that it is not a heroine oriented subject and so she doesn’t have much to enact, still he is very happy with Haripriya’s performance who has given her best to the role.

Some important sequences have been shot in Hongkong with a special equipment used to capture a risky stunt scene. “It is an ordinary film with no gimmicks or extravagant storyline but certainly a complete entertainer”, assures Venkatesh.

Dhina has scored the music. He has worked a lot to improvise on his earlier creations. The songs have come out well with one of them ‘Dheera Dheera Magadheera’ creating ripples in the top 10 song charts. The background score is sure to create great impact going by the quality of the songs.

Vallakkottai, another addition to the other Diwali silver screen contestants, will be a sure bonanza to Arjun’s fans.
