Jeevan - Priyamani's four-year wait
By Behindwoods News Bureau.
October 01, 2007
Director Selva’s venture Thotta is all set to take off from tomorrow (2-10-07) after a gap of four years. This Jeevan-Priyamani-starrer was stalled due to unexpected financial crisis. With all that taking the backseat now, Thotta may see the light of the day in the month of December.

According to Selva, the storyline is very unique with a mixture of romance and action. Since the movie is rolling after a long four-year gap, it is quite natural that the appearances of the lead actors have changed drastically. So the shots already canned have been discarded and the shooting will start afresh, he said. With Jeevan flying off to Switzerland for Machchkaran, Thotta team in the meanwhile intends to shoot scenes in which his presence is not essential.

The other projects that Selva has on hands are for Kanagadhara Movies, the producers of Pokkiri, in which Vijayakanth stars. Another one in the pipeline is a remake of the famous yesteryear movie, Noorthukku Nooru for which Arjun has been roped in. Veteran director K. Balachandar’s production house Kavithalaya is backing this venture. India Search
