A Living Legend

Fifty three years ago,
Through an attorney and a great mother,
came into being,
what is now a phenomenon.

Thy name bears testimony of friendship.
and the symbol of the beleaguered whimsicians.
true to ye mother's words,
my son can be a scavenger,
but still should be the best one at that.
with thy skill,
anyone you can mat.

Drawn to the courts more than once,
accusations of being a plagiarist, degrader, inciter-what not?
Braving it all,
thy had resounding victories each time.

Fidelity and infidelity,
spying and tracking down,
illiterate and literate,
corruption and anticorruption,
the ironies just don't stop.

In accordance with natures principle,
nothing is permanent except change,
and with Bapu's words-be the change,
selflessness comes naturally and even really to you,
unlike the meddling crowd.

Renowned followers of The Preserver,
find it indiscernible,
of your knowledge about unity in diversity,
Being a non-follower!

Your life and your mortal remains,
Shall be immortal,
Mother India is blessed indeed,
