Nila, the Delhi girl who made her
debut with S J Surya’s Anbae
Aaruyirae, changed her name to Meera
Chopra to try her luck in the Telugu
field. She signed up opposite Pawan
Kalyan in Bangaram and expected that
everything would change for good once
the movie released. But it looks like
her expectations were ill-founded.
The movie bombed belying trade analyst’s
predictions. Hoping that Banagaram
would push her to the top, she shied
away from Tamil projects and even
earned the wrath of the producers
of Jambavan, a Prashanth starrer in
which she refused to do a bathing
scene as per the instructions of the
