No Vadivelu….no Vivek…no costly comedian.
Yet the movie Dishyum had ripping comedy. The
guy who made quite an impact in Dishyum was Fakru,
the dwarf. His body language and enunciation are
already making him sought after by the producers
who are now thinking of taking him rather than
the more expensive Vadivelu and Vivek. He is already
a hit with his excellent performance in Arputha
Theevu in Malayalam. He had stunted growth after
undergoing vaccination as an infant. Undeterred
by his disability, he has worked hard to earn
a reputation in cinema. His original name is Ajay
Kumar. He is 2’5’’. He got married
yesterday to Gayathri, who is 5’2”.
The pair did look quite happy after a simple temple
marriage and they moved into their new home. He
thanked director Sasi for giving him the right
break and also for portraying him in a positive
light rather than as a caricature. He is also
happy with the response from the Tamil audience.
Fakru will be traveling to Australia and the Gulf.
His newly wed bride will also accompany him. Congratulations
